A little background on my home town

Name- Whitesburg, Kentucky. Population 1500+. I live where My neighbors are my family, My grandparents live less than 10 minutes away. I see people who live in the same house that they were born in. Everyone gives a helping hand. You really do have neigbors come to borrow a cup of sugar. I live where its peaceful and quiet. I live in eastern Kentucky. and I love it.

nice to see there are still places like that around.Sounds like my ncles place in kansas where I spent a few summers as a kid, town was so small ( and still is ) that the postman delivered mail not by adress but by name, he simply knew who lived where...

Wow. It's beautiful. And it's hard to imagine that kind of small town life. You make it sound so charming. I live in the suburbs that are slowly starting to become city-like. Ask a neighbor for sugar here, and you're likely to get a giggle and a door slammed in your face.
